 About us

We are a family with 4 children who has a small cattery of Siberian cats located in Telemark county in Norway. It is about 1,5 hours drive from Oslo. Cirkumpolare was one of the first catteries of Siberian Cats in Norway. We enjoy living with our cats and offer kittens from them sometimes. All kittens are grown in loving home environment. We try to plan our breeding program for the benifit of the Siberian breed. We don't mix Neva Masquarade with Siberian cats because we don't consider them as a variety of Siberians, but another breed. We try to import new lines to Norway to widen the genepool and avoid high and unnecessary inbreeding.

Cirkumpolare cats live in: USA, Australia, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Hungary and Norway. We also have lines from our cats in Sweden. Our cats have done great on Shows in many countries. We breed high quality siberians of old lines and good type, with a strong temper and good health. Cirkumpolare kittens are spoiled here as they will be when they join their new homes. We only have kittens available to loving, permanent homes. Please note that most kittens are reserved before conception.

Please contact us If you are interested in a Cirkumpolarekitten.

We are proud of:

- Having Norwegians first approved breedingmale
- Having Norwegians second litter and the first litter offered to permanent homes. The first litter was  never sold out of the cattery.
- Cirkumpolare was the first cattery in Norway to import cats from Russia. We went to Russia in 2005 and 2006. Pictures can be seen in our picture gallery.
- The first Norwegian born Siberian who became Best In Show in Norway, was from our cattery.
- Cirkumpolare was the first Norwegian Cattery to export cats out from Norway.

Cathrine & Dag are proud to be owned by beautiful Siberians.
